Pastry Sous Chef
Sydney is a French-trained pastry chef who participated in Le Grand Diplôme, a prestigious, intensive program at Le Cordon Bleu in Paris, where she received double diplomas; Diplome de Cuisine and Diplome de Patisserie.
Before pursuing pastry full-time, Sydney attended the University of Michigan, where she studied psychology and communications and competed on the women’s lacrosse team. After graduation, she spent time working in tech in Los Angeles before returning home to South Jersey during the pandemic. This turning point led her to turn her hobby into a career.
Sydney's passion for pastry blossomed at Vetri Cucina, where she learned invaluable lessons under Chef Michal and refined her craft. Shortly after completing her studies in Paris, Sydney returned to Philadelphia and joined the Mighty Bread team, where she has been for nearly two years.
