Sous Chef

Leigh grew up as the child of a chef, surrounded by both the beauty and chaos of restaurant life. In high school, she set her sights on art school, but after a year realized that path wasn’t the right fit — although her pull toward creativity never faded. When she later stepped into the food industry, initially out of necessity, she found a new outlet for that creative drive in the kitchen. Ten years later, cooking has become the craft she’s proud to call her own.

Leigh has worked in a variety of kitchens, refining her technique and learning from chefs and bakers with high standards. She’s passionate about feeding people, working alongside teammates who care deeply about their work, and consistently putting out the best food possible without compromising quality.

Leigh came to Mighty Bread Co. thanks to a nudge from her best friend Gaby, who insisted she join “the best team in the city.” She quickly found a workplace defined by collaboration, support, and shared purpose — and she’s proud to contribute her skill and steady presence as Sous Chef.
